What makes the Garbage Doctor Unique?

Traditional odour control systems typically work by spraying an odour-neutralising fragrance into the garbage chute. The Garbage Doctor Vs. Generic Ozone Generators

Generic Ozone Generators often create ozone using a technology called 'Corona Discharge'. Corona Discharge is often the technology of choice for applications such as treating spa pools and swimming pools, however it has some major disadvantages for garbage chute applications:

This is because in addition to Ozone, Corona Discharge technology typically creates a by-product called 'Nitrogen Oxide'. When these Nitrogen Oxides are exposed to humidity (H20), they can quickly form into Nitric Acid which is corrosive in steel garbage systems (in some cases this may take a year or more to become visibly evident).
